REFORMER PILATES — TRAINING
The Raeya Method Reformer Teacher Training is a contemporary Pilates certification grounded in the principles of classical Pilates and designed for the realities of today's studio environment.
This comprehensive training is designed to develop thoughtful, capable instructors who can lead safe, effective, and engaging group Reformer Pilates classes. Beyond learning the Reformer repertoire, participants develop the practical teaching skills needed to confidently step into today's industry. Throughout the program, you'll learn how to observe movement, communicate with clarity, structure intelligent classes, and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of the individuals in front of you.
This program integrates the principles of classical Pilates with biomechanics and practical teaching methodology, helping instructors understand not only what to teach, but why they are teaching it. Rather than simply memorizing exercises, participants develop an understanding of movement principles that support thoughtful programming, effective cueing, and informed teaching decisions.
Participants work through a progressive Reformer repertoire, including foundational, intermediate, and selected advanced exercises, while exploring modifications, progressions, and the integration of small equipment. Alongside the physical practice, the training includes anatomy, biomechanics, movement mechanics, programming, cueing, teaching methodology, and practice teaching to help bridge the gap between learning Pilates and confidently teaching it.
Whether you're beginning your teaching journey or expanding your existing movement education, the Raeya Method Reformer Teacher Training is designed to prepare you with the knowledge, practical experience, and professional skills to teach in today's group fitness environment.
